  • New position has been created in our established and fast growing Agricultural Company. This pivotal position will be responsible for driving forward a new phase in the business from the ground up. Our Company offers a diverse Agricultural Service for our customers on a seasonal basis.  Located in the picturesque High Country of Victoria we are nestled between the Mountains for Snow Skiing, Hiking or Riding and Lake Eildon for Water Skiing, swimming & fishing. Surrounded by beautiful mountain streams to relax beside.  Our Local Community offers Facilities which include a Community Hall, Indoor Sports Centre, Football & Cricket Grounds, Swimming Pool, Various Banks, Pubs and Sporting Clubs.  We have three Primary Schools and a Secondary College with excellent pass rates. There are fabulous Restaurants, Cafés and Wineries. All set in the tranquil friendly township of Mansfield.
  • Applicant must be an enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious person who is familiar with
    • Latest fodder harvesting equipment
    • Fertiliser application equipment
    • Latest Technology advances in Agriculture
    • Have a sound mechanical aptitude
    • Have a Minimum of 4-5 years experience using the above equipment
    • Be computer literate have some GPS  knowledge
    • Be able to problem solve, make decisions and act accordingly
    • Enjoy working in a well organized and equipped workshop
    • Knowledge of Agriculture chemical

DUTIES

  • Responsible to oversee all maintenance on all types of agricultural machinery and vehicles.
  • Make sure maintenance schedules are up to date.
  • Ensure Equipment is calibrated correctly ready for field operation by other staff.
  • Train and mentor staff in the correct use of Machinery and its maintenance.
  • You will be part of the management group that will decide the direction of our business.
  • You will be required to operate various equipment to maintain a good understanding of how they work.
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Maintain a meticulous and practical workshop    

SALARY PACKAGE

  • Salary $40000-$45000 pa (depending on experience)
